The Bhagavad Gita is a manual for life and living, applicable to all human beings irrespective of background.  It’s wisdom is universal, like the laws of science.  It helps in all areas of life, from the mundane pursuits of the world to spiritual Enlightenment.  The 701 verses of the Gita are the philosophical essence of the great Indian epic, Mahabharata.  The story describes an ancient conflict between two royal families, the Kauravas and Pandavas.  The Kauravas represent the lower nature of humanity while the Pandavas symbolize our better selves.  Their rivalry ultimately culminated in the famous battle at Kurukshetra.  The battle itself represents the push and pull of good and bad within us.  If we make the effort to arm ourselves with the Gita’s great knowledge, the good can prevail and we can be our best.

SERIES 2 : 8th April till 14th April 2023

This is the second series of our new ‘Gita at Ananda’ Masterclass  at Ananda with daily lectures on the latter portion of Chapter 2 of the Bhagavad Gita entitled Sankhya Yoga  - Yoga of Knowledge (72 verses)
